All Community Playlists!
A whole bunch of community playlists if you're at a loss!
Hey everyone,
Before I make the leap away from Spotify (I’ll expand upon why in another post), I thought I’d put together all of those community playlists that we created together. For those who are new, I’ve created a fair few playlists and then asked the Substack Community to tweak them by choosing a song to remove, to add and to keep.
These are all of those results in one big list!
60s Community Playlist (April 2024)
Admittedly, there were one or two songs from the 50s that snuck in here. Clearly, at this point, I wasn’t too worried about my playlists being ‘recent’! Also, I soon learned not to make a community playlist 60 songs!
Summer Community Playlist (May 2024)
Yeah, I probably should have re-shared this a couple of months ago but there you have it.
Women Who Rock Community Playlist (June 2024)
This one features exclusively women who, for a wide variety of reasons, rock.
Long Song Community Playlist (September 2024)
Who would have thought it would take 7 and a half hours to listen to 50-odd songs.
Short Song Community Playlist (October 2024)
…whereas this one only takes 1h15 to listen to. I remember very much enjoying making this one.
Hip Hop Community Playlist (February 2025)
By this point, I started whittling the playlist down to 20. I really love this one. I also made sure that ALL of these songs included were released within the last year at the time of publishing.
Saxy Songs Community Playlist (May 2025)
I made this because, against all odds, I now love new music with saxophones apparently. Give this a listen and you will too.
A-Z Community Playlist (June 2025)
I never actually shared the results of this one! So here we go. A new one for you all! We Are Scientists, Counting Crows and Zoot Woman were added. We didn’t get an X in the end but so be it!
And there we have it!
